AB  - The  2002  Institute  of  Medicine  report  “Unequal  Treatment,”  a  report  on  disparities  in  health  care,  hypothesizes  that  unacknowledged  sociocultural  differences  between  patient  and  provider  may  lead  to  poor  health  outcomes.
