AB The  skeleton  is  a  dynamic  organ  composed  of  cartilage  and  bone.  It  functions  as  a  rigid  framework  for  the  protection  of  soft  tissue  organs  and  as  an  attachment  site  for  muscles  and  tendons  for  movement,  enabling  physical  activity.
